Concrete x M0: Introducing concUSD
Concrete is partnering with M0 to launch concUSD, a new stablecoin designed to be a dollar-denominated liquidity layer for the Concrete ecosystem.
For Concrete, this is more than launching another stablecoin. It is about owning more of the financial stack around our vault infrastructure.
Powered by M0, the modular stablecoin infrastructure behind products from companies such as MetaMask and MoneyGram, concUSD brings Concrete into a growing ecosystem of application-specific stablecoins.
Why M0
A credible stablecoin requires far more than deploying a token. It requires banking and issuer relationships, reserve management, custody, minting and redemption infrastructure, compliance systems, liquidity, cross-chain deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operations.
Building that stack ourselves would mean spending years recreating infrastructure outside of Concrete’s core.
Through M0, Concrete can retain the concUSD brand, product experience, economics, and integrations while leveraging existing infrastructure for issuance, liquidity, redemption, and interoperability.
A Dollar Built for Vaults
That utility starts with Concrete Vaults.
Concrete Vaults provide infrastructure for deploying capital across lending markets, liquidity venues, delta-neutral strategies, restaking opportunities, and other on-chain yield strategies, while automating much of the operational complexity underneath them.
concUSD gives that infrastructure its own native dollar.
Over time, concUSD can become a common asset across the Concrete ecosystem: a deposit and withdrawal asset for vaults, a settlement asset between strategies, a source of liquidity across partner protocols, a composable asset for lending and collateral markets.
The Concrete Economy
Concrete believes that sophisticated on-chain strategies should not require sophistication for the users.
Vaults abstract the complexity of finding, executing, and managing on-chain yield strategies. concUSD extends that thesis one layer deeper.
Users should not have to think about fragmented liquidity, bridge infrastructure, or which stablecoin sits underneath each strategy. They should be able to use a dollar designed around the ecosystem they are already using.
For Concrete, that dollar is concUSD.
M0 makes money programmable. Concrete puts it to work.
Welcome to concUSD.
